My relaxed lifestyle newborn session takes place in the comfort of your home. This means you have everything you need close by, allowing you to relax in familiar surroundings.
You're not only looking for photos of your newborn baby, but also the special moments of interaction with you, your baby's sibling(s) and if you have pets they're welcome to join in too!
No crazy props or poses, just beautiful, joyful, natural photographs.
How does it all work?

1. You fill out the contact form here.
2. I start everything with a phone call and will be in touch within 48 hours to say hello, answer any questions and schedule your Lifestyle Newborn Session.
3. Digital contract and session fee invoice are sent to secure your session date and time. Signing and payment is online.
4. I'll touch base a few days before your session to go over any last minute questions.
5. Relax and enjoy the session!
6. Review your proof images online 2-3 weeks after your session date and decide which Collection you'd like to purchase. Each Collection includes a credit towards print orders from your gallery.

lifestyle newborn session investment
The session fee covers my time, both before and during your session, and is required to secure your booking. The fee includes a pre-session phone consultation and approximately 2 hours at your session. Each image is creatively processed by me to reflect my style before uploading to a private online proofing gallery.
Digital Collections and print products may be purchased separately after you have viewed your gallery. This gives you the opportunity to decide which Collection best suits your family.
The session fee does not include digitals or prints (see below for Collection options).
Your private online gallery is delivered 2-3 weeks after your session.

Lifestyle newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your home and are scheduled in the late morning.
If siblings are involved, I usually start off with photos of them with their new brother/sister, then they can go and play if we've lost their attention - they can always come back later! We’ll have plenty of time for photos of baby alone and these are usually taken when they are sleepy, swaddled or undressed, and placed in natural poses, without props.
All homes work - small, medium, big, and although good, natural light is preferred (we only need one good window), I can work in all light situations using a setup that creates natural looking light if necessary.
When it comes to a newborn session the baby is in charge, so plan on spending up to 2 hours together which allows enough time for feeding and diaper changing breaks, and older siblings to participate at their own pace.
